Conductive Music Workshops
Students in Year 3 and Year 4 had the opportunity to take part in conductive music workshops. They got to combine their computing, science and music skills to create musical fruit, circuits and songs. The workshops explained electrical circuits, how to build a musical instrument with the MakeyMakey boards using fruit & vegetables, and how to create original music. They learnt concepts such as relative pitch, body percussion and rhythmic composition. Students got to design their own instruments, creating graphite-based circuits that, once connected, became drums that they could play. It was a wonderful interactive learning experience for all.
